Privacy Policy
Draft, not yet reviewed by a lawyer. This page needs legal review before the site goes live. It describes the site's actual data handling as built, not a generic template.
What we collect
When you submit the enquiry form on this site, we collect the information you enter: your name, business name, email, phone number (optional), business type, region and any message you write. We don't collect payment or account credentials through this site; wholesale credit applications and account setup happen off-site, by phone or email, once you've made contact.
How we use it
We use enquiry form submissions to respond to you: sending current pricing and availability, and to set up a wholesale account if you go ahead. We don't sell, rent or trade your information to third parties. We may keep enquiry records to follow up and for our own business records.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the page, using cookies and similar technology. Analytics data is aggregated and doesn't identify you personally. You can opt out using your browser's cookie settings or a tool such as Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Cookies
Beyond analytics, this site uses localStorage (not a cookie) to remember your chosen language across visits. That preference stays on your device and isn't sent to us.
Data retention
We keep enquiry and account records for as long as reasonably needed for the business relationship and our legal and accounting obligations.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to what we're required to keep for legal or accounting reasons. Contact us using the details on the contact page.
Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.
Contact
Questions about this policy: use the phone numbers or the enquiry form on the main site. A dedicated privacy contact email should be added here once the site's main email address is set (see Website - Build Notes.md, "Open items before this goes live").
